Projects

In the wake of Hurricane Florence, nearly all of the roof areas at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) in Wilmington, North Carolina had sustained moderate to severe roof damage. Starting in 2018, CECA was contracted to survey and evaluate over 550,000 SF of roof area to develop a Long-Term Asset Management and Maintenance Program and later develop plans and specifications to conduct a
Multi-Phase, Multi-Year Hurricane-Wind Mitigation Roof Replacement & Restoration project. The project will not only address the damaged roof areas but replace the existing roofing systems with a multi-membrane, negative-pressured roofing system to reduce and/or eliminate the possibility of catastrophic failures caused by future storms.
