CECA has provided roof consulting and design services for the planned restoration and/or replacement of Single-Ply Membrane and Modified Bitumen roofing systems for the North Chicago School District #121 to extend the service life of their existing roofing systems for 15+ years beyond the standard useful service life typical of these types of roofing systems. Through utilization of their expertise and past experience, CECA was able to analyze the existing roofing systems and develop a long-term and immediate solution to address the failing roofs under the limiting budget constraints available from the client. CECA will continue to monitor these roofs through a Long-Term Asset Management and Maintenance Program to ensure the roofs meet their expected 15-year service life extension and assist the North Chicago School District in the planning and budgeting of future capital replacement and restoration projects.
